Award
winning author - Ivis Bo Davis grew up on a potato farm outside the
tiny community of Filer, Idaho, as number four of six siblings. A
noisy childhood filled with camping, hunting and fishing with his
father fueled his thirst for adventure.
Be
careful what you ask for... you just might get it. Adventure came
searching for Bo and found him on more than a few occasions. While
still in grade school he saved a fellow child from drowning...
After
graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and found more
excitement than he really wanted on his tour of duty during the War
in Vietnam...
Once
the
'Police Action' was over, he came home only to discover his fellow
Americans had declared a social war against their own military
servicemen, himself included...
Inadvertently
caught in a riot, he barely managed to fight off his attackers, while
bystanders stood around and enjoyed watching him take a beating...
Arriving
first on the scene of a traffic accident, he dragged an unconscious
motorist from his overturned and burning vehicle on a California
freeway - just before it exploded...
He
found himself discovering and singlehandedly fighting small forest
fires not once, but twice on the same vacation in the northern Rocky
Mountains in Utah...
As
a result of all this 'fun and excitement', Mr. Davis now defines
'adventure'
as 'life
completely out of control'.
Like
most other writers, he is an avid and easily amused observer of human
behavior. Keenly interested in new scientific advancements and
technologies, medical discoveries, nutritional health, and
international economic and political events, he often finds evidence
of conspiracy behind the bushes in his forest of knowledge.
Bo's
thirst for excitement drives him to write science fiction, allowing
him to explore the adventures of the universe without actually giving
unfriendly strangers the opportunity to shoot at him. He now
resides in Garland, Texas, with his wonderful wife Elaine and their
'owner' - a blue-eyed beauty in the form of a white cat named Lenny.
Seeds
they are...
the
best and brightest of Earth's young people selected as colonists
aboard the world's first interstellar colony ship... Seeds of
humanity's finest ... along with the plants and animals they'll need
to survive the long journey... and during the struggle to gain a
vital toehold on an alien world to prevent the extinction of the
frail race of man.
Todd,
Randy, and Angela are geniuses. The only problem with genius is
that it's infernally curious, and before the ship leaves Earth, that
quality will lead them into trouble with the most powerful men on the
planet. When they discover a diabolical conspiracy of greed
threatening to subvert the new colony into political and economic
slavery, there's only one thing left to do - fight back.
Unfortunately, as their launch date approaches... the power-brokers
realize the trio know too much and order the U.N. Secret Service to
stop them.
As
they flee for their lives... a vicious group of religious zealots -
with their own deadly agenda - attempts to prevent the colonists from
leaving Earth... and the world explodes into violent anarchy
when the
population finally realizes they will be left behind to die.
Can
the trio ensure the starship Triznov will escape from Earth...
and
prevent the exploitation of the new colony for wealth and power?
